(effective immediately per Gary)
1) Anyone appearing 40 or under needs to have a valid government-issued ID to be served alcohol (this is OK by Colorado Liquor Enforcement). If they appear to be over 40, we need to at least confirm with them they are over 40. And we can not serve alcohol (or even have someone on the premises) that appears to be intoxicated or under-the-influence. In terms of alcohol control, I’d like to tighten this up such that we are keeping a better inventory, and the access to alcohol should be only thru designated staff. The wine and beer should not be visibly accessible to Customers or outside Inspectors, etc. (i.e. the appearance of accessibility).
2) Going forward, unless explicitly delegated, I do not want anyone speaking on behalf of TEN to any government entities, making any commitments to Vendors, nor discussing with potential Competitors anything related to TEN (and as determined by law) without prior approval from Gary, Shawne, or that which is delegated to a Manager. This would include policies and practices of TEN, payroll-related information (pay rates, number of employees, hiring/firing and similar), tax-related information (sales, payroll, income, etc.), insurance-related information, banking-related information, customer-related information, and any other TEN information that could be construed as business proprietary. Violations of this policy are grounds for immediate termination.
Current explicit delegations are as follows:
THE MANAGEMENT OF TEN ARE WORKING TO ESTABLISH NEW PROCEDURES THAT WILL ALLOW US TO EFFECTIVELY ADHERE TO POLICY CHANGE #1 WITHOUT AFFECTING THE SERVICE TO OUR GUESTS. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED AS THESE NEW PROCEDURES ARE PUT INTO PLACE. Thank you.
